a couple of days ago, i was invited to OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE in Ratu Plaza to attend this blogger lunch along with Ario Achda, Arnold Teja and Gricia Effendy. it was fun and filling! i arrived late tho, blame the nasty traffic! but it was paid off! the meal was awesome!

OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE was firstly inspired by the classic movie, CROCODILE DUNDEE and conceptualized as American outlet with an Australian theme. Within a mere twenty years, the upstart steakhouse on Henderson Street, Tampa, has grown into nearly 1200 restaurants in 23 countries in America, Europe, Australia, Middle East, and Asia, including Jakarta, Indonesia.

Steakhouses tend to be a very formal dining venue, in which in OUTBACK, you can eat in a mess! don't worry about wearing any shirt or suit, just come with t-shirt and jeans and eat like there's no tomorrow! the tenderness of the meat, the fresh veggies, great appetizers, all come in one menu! so why bother looking for other steakhouses? come to OUTBACK! they have PIM Branch too!

Hey, sorry i've been slacking around with my blog these days! but i didn't mean to, it's just.. happened. can't be undone.

well, as you may know a couple of days ago, which was 29th November 2011, I did attend 'HERMES Temptation' book launching by Fitria Yusuf and Alexandra Dewi at PESTO. This book is packed with light content, all about their struggle and stories regarding their role as Prestigious Reseller.

What do they do basically? Well, as you may know, reseller means you buy then you sell it again to different audience. that's exactly what they do. Some people may ask them to sell their second hand or even brand new branded bags. Mostly, HERMES, though sometimes they provide you with other varieties as well.

It sounds easy, huh? Reselling things, then you get the money. But in fact, it's not a piece of cake! Many problems were there, waiting for them to be solved. For instance, bad customer, deceitful customer, fake bags and all, competition occurs too! since, they're not the only reseller in Indonesia.

But why HERMES? why is it not Balenciaga? Louis Vuitton? Bottega Venetta? And all other brands. It simply is because HERMES charm, its pride and quality. Would you buy a bag that costs equal to a car? Many would say, NO! but hell in Indonesia, they'll scream YEAH *well, mostly women would say so*. Then what would they do to get them? I gotta say, anything! yes, anything. A group of 7 women would willing to buy ONE bag, because it costs them so much that they don't want to waste it by themselves. each of them will wear the bag one day in a week. silly and stupid huh? how brand blinds people's eye.

But that's the mentality of indonesian fellows, my dear. I'm not criticizing, I'm being realistic, cause that's what happened. And i love how this book is all about, the stories between their successful journey. how they earn the trust from people and all. how do you thing that works? NEVER EVER DECEIVE YOUR CUSTOMER. that's a very bad bad bad bad and bad act. trust is like a glass, once it's broken, it'll never be the same, never perfect. you'll always see the cracks though you've fixed it thousand times.

The overall of the launching is pretty good! The food from PESTO was great, i love the ambience and friendliness of the authors. the talk was all about the book and we were also taught to differ fake to genuine bags. it was fun and kind of new for me. Since Fitria and Dewi were really beautiful! Fitria simply wore white top and white pants while Dewi does the opposite, black top and fringe skirt-like-shorts. cool heels both of them wore!

Not only they're funny and friendly, but their hearts are gold! with the launch for this book, they also donated the total of USD40000 to two social associations. means, they're not only good in earning money, but they also do giving money away for those who need them. may God bless you always ;)

so. here i start again. from jumbled letters in my mind, my head. my fingers repetitiously hitting the keyboard as my mind told them so. letter by letter beautifully arranged as one unity, one paragraph and story. yes, another story of me. hearing my story may seem so boring and gloomy, but oh well, sometimes you just read them anyway. like a sunset in front of my eyes now. very calm, serene and warm. i'm sitting inside my cold apartment, on my bed, staring out the window through the curtain. looking out at numerous tall buildings with some sunset glares, madly deeply crazy about them.

i wonder how people could manage to build those tall buildings. i feel so small. one tricky way is to feel good about myself, by starting to love myself the way it is, i learn to love others. others' weaknesses first, then their strengths.

i will talk a little bit about my life here, in the fashion capital of australia, melbourne. having myself working and studying so hard every single day often exhausts me. i feel that part of me is absorbed, by the filthy negative energy surrounds me. and that's when i find some getaway, never healthy but it is just how i replenish my boredom and stress. i do drink, sometimes, a lot. yes, i do. so why? several times i lose control, cause no one is ever, really, able to control themselves perfectly. your ego and anger will take over your acts, and when alcohol is involved, it will bloat like a nuclear bomb.

i do tricks, such as spilling out all the drinks people give (or buy) for me, i feel sorry for them. but oh well, i just want to keep in shape. black out is never fun and having a severe hangover? once is enough. i never like alcohol, really, i just love the after effect ;) who doesn't?

never ever judge me by my look, what i wear, what i tweet, or whathefuckever you want to judge me from. get to know me, then you will know who i am. judgmental people live in hypocrite life with hypocrite faces. you are no other than sick people whose lives aren't interesting til you are so busy taking care of others' lives.

tell me where i did wrong, tell me which part is not excruciating. living in a life like this, i feel empty. i have no life. everything is just simple. mediocre. not much challenges. i miss my fanciful life, having said that i'm stressed over my assignments is something. i can't stand those filthy lines and construction details. i'm just not into them. i love to design and give ideas, but i'm not the fairy godmother who could grant the wish, i can't create them on my own, feel like i need someone to illustrate and draw all my ideas. cause in the end, i'll be working with them anyway.

now it's time for me to make a big tough decision. deferring for one semester had never crossed my mind. nonetheless all the problems i got here, i've never wanted this period of time, flying myself away from Melbourne, the city where i spend my last 2 years most. well, part of me wants to stay here, while the other half is begging me to go back there and rest my mind. having my family and close friends around is never been something bad for me.

tell me what to do cause i'm lost. my dad's been so nice to me. he would gently greet me every morning via BBM and before i go to sleep at night. he worries about me so much that he can't stand still. he put me on top of anything, as a priority. then i feel the guilt rottens my soul, i feel so bad to let him down again and again whilst he's always been the best for me.

easy breezy. day by day goes by like flowing water. still water is who i was, once you touch it, the little waves blur the reflection, and that's who i am now. i'm curious, i'm wondering, i'm expecting something big would happen but yet, another rage of disappointment comes closer. now see and look at me, i'm someone with no direction, i lost my light and i hope i'd see something far in the end. my destiny my dream my purpose.

like a bottleneck my mind stuck, snarled up. i need something fresh, something new, something magical to happen in no time. with a blink of an eye i wish i could be someone new, better and stronger.

My indonesian fellas might have known him as well. he's quite a charm and nice in person, friendly i suppose. but rather than a fan, i might consider acquaintance is a better term for me. since i'm not a hardcore or part of the groupies. that's all! chance to meet him? nothing's impossible.

these past few days, i gotta admit that i don't have to mood to blog. another plain days, boring days and lazy days. i don't have anything to cheer on except my loveliest blogger friend ever Ms. Claradevi from Sunflares Plethora. the sweetest living creature with wild thoughts ever!

Like, when we first met, it felt like we'd known each other for years. We had quite some straight forward and private conversations! Had dinner together, lunch, even dinner! we stroll along the vintage city of Melbourne during one gloomy and rainy day just to take some good pictures together. thanks to Briano Kawenang for his willingness to be one sudden photographer. though it was raining and gloomy, we ended up with BRILLIANT PICTURES! some look like we're in New York.

and what's with my private life? another silly rhythm in my heart keeps on playing their beats, weaving another story and history. i'm about to change, to someone i haven't discovered yet. my voice box is damaged, it left me with unclear and husky voice. i swallowed myself inside my blanket crying when i found out i can't sing properly now. no more high pitch, no more duet i could do.

btw, happy to announce me, myself and I to be featured in one of online magazines! FASHLADY.COM August 2011 ed.

Hey guys, as i've mentioned before that i'll review this astonishing department store! Well, i'm not a big fan of department store when it comes into shopping spree, but this time, i was shocked myself to witness the goodies inside the store! thanks Mbak Nina for the friendly offer! ;)

I'm going to mention several brands those captivated my eyes! MONSOON, MILA, TRENDSQUARE and MOOD. Moonson was originally created to attract women at their 30s, but now they've released new accessories collection which are pretty WOW! They even have the cute stationery station!

while Trendsquare is meant to be for teenagers! since they pick up the theme HARAJUKU with colourful pallette! ;)

in my opinion, this department store provides you with vary type of clothing and i'm in love with all of them! ;)

and and and, i visited Basilico for the first time! it's a really nice and great restaurant with amazing food!

had my Gnocchi al Pomodoro and great drink as perfect companion.

as i've told you from the previous post that i visited METRO dept. store in Gandaria city. it was a very pleasant visit and i was surprised by the fact that it holds a great deal of good clothing! ;) i won't review it all at once, but i'm going to show you one of the top that i got from TREND SQUARE. one of the brands which sells a lot of teenagers stuffs! It's more to Harajuku style and i know you'll love it!

and my heart feels fade away. the cold wind blows inside my mind, reminding me how warm it supposed to be before. today i went to a doctor for a minor surgery and ended up with pain in my toe. can't wear heels quite right, but managed to force myself to today, it's just because i need to post! ;)

today i'm going to METRO dept store in Gandaria city for a private tour inside the store, Nina will show me around! I'm excited! And btw, i'm wearing my new sponsor's skirt from sho(phis)tix! the skirt is black in colour, floral lace in texture with brown inset. it's size 0 but still too big on me, but oh well! ;) when it's time to mix and match, i know how to cover it! and it's by mixing it with my new favourite shirt from our local brand, *OH YEAH*, DEER. it's soooooooo comfortable! the chiffon material makes it fits perfectly with my body.

although i'm not a social worker or even a volunteer in any social activities, but i know i'm doing the right thing. it's been 5 months since i joined UNCHR (United Nation Refugee Agency) and donate monthly via direct debit from my bank account. so every first day of each month, the UNCHR will take some money from my bank as a donation, in this case, i chose $32 per month which is around $1 per day. well i'm working now, so i know it's not that hard to just give out 1 dollar perday, since i'm quite a consumptive person. adding $1 dollar per day won't make me die.

we know a lot of disasters happened in past few decades, here UNCHR tries its best to help them! Believe me, the money won't go anywhere but the ones those need them.

we will also receive newsletter from UNCHR every some time, just to update about what's going on and make sure that the money is delivered righteously.

it's easy to join this community, GOOGLE them, and look for how to join the team! me, myself, joined this donating program when i was walking on the street. i met this guy who was passionate to promote the donation program to people on the street, i couldn't stop wondering what his feeling was when people rejected to join or just avoided him.

then i got a vision, that i probably should help them, although i may not be able to be there in the location and help them directly, at least i know i'm part of some help. i may have saved hundreds, even thousands lives out there. we never know what it feels like to be one of them! so please, open your heart, and join UNCHR ;)

this is what happened, so i was in the middle of doing nothing but browsing, then i decided to do a quick photoshoot with my cousin who was doing his assignment. without any words to him, i quickly changed outfit and put on some make up. i went out my room and i couldn't find him there doing his assignment, unfortunately, yes, he fell asleep in his bedroom.

i don't want to waste the effort i've put, i'm fully dressed and so ready to rock the photo session, then i texted one of my friend, who appears to be one of my fave photographers now! call him EVAN GIOVANNI! he was on his way back home from school when i texted him, he was free and yes! we met downstairs *my apartment* and did a photoshoot! thank you

i brush my teeth and look at the mirror. looking at myself. full of flaws and lack of purity. but let me somehow tell you something, through the bittersweet of life, we got those sadness wrinkles. but the experience that we earn may value more than lifetime effort. like swimming in the ocean i feel so free to do whatever i want, i fall in love, i hate someone, i talk good and bad, that's just me.

having said, being forced to do something ain't a good thing, but somehow we still do it. there's this one thing inside my heart, i just can't say it out loud. the inexplicability truth. seriously, nothing in my mind can get it right. i can't put them in right words. like something in our relationship lacks. but hey, no relationship is perfect, with all our strengths we cover our weaknesses. we're just too in love to be true. having you beside me, comforts me a lot. and i miss our moments together.

what i've been doing recently is nothing much but working. i worked my ass off so hard. i did my projects and ended up with SEVERE CUT! you might not want to see all the blood, but it's real. i couldn't stop the bleeding for more than half an hour. that was crazy, it's been awhile since the last time i cried cause of wounds.

what a bummer that i should be flying back to melbourne today, so long jakarta. you've been good to me. through many tears i shed and laughter i enjoy, i'm in love with you, my traffic city

i am thrilled, i am excited, i am driven into madness. i don't know what's it called, i'm not sure if it's love, but for me, i know it ain't something simple. it's complex. like the structure of your brain, like the idea of making an aeroplane, it's so complicated you can't even imagine. how would you explain this : while you are looking at the mirror when you are alone, you wish you could see his reflection. when you are sitting on a bench under a tree, you don't wish for anything but him to be next to you so you can lean on him. that's silly, one kind of stupidity, but yea, i name it irrational!

i'm a type of person who gets bored easily, no offense but that's the truth. i am incapable of making empty promises. if i were to promise something i couldn't do, that's because i was under pressure and i was forced to. but now, i know somehow that i won't get bored easily. if you could get my heart, i'm not easy to please. but you are here now, standing tall next to me, be there for me.

you are like water to my thirst, smile to my face, food to my hunger, companion to my loneliness, the light of my dark. there you smile to me and say, "you look so beautiful today". but the thing is, one sweet little compliment boosts my mood, cause i know you mean it and you say it every single day. like a book, chapter by chapter, page by page we write our story. started with a blank page, i started the first sentence, and it will be : "IT STARTED WITH A KISS"

here i am writing this note just for you, because i know i'm leaving for melbourne in less than 20 hours. 4 months of torture in order to be happy together forever. i feel like inventing a time machine so i can be 4 months ahead! there i'm gonna be with you 24/7 if we want to.

i'm a free woman. mature enough to decide whatever i want to do. cause i got my limitation and i got my norm in my head. while sometimes people just too judgmental to be around me, you are there, trusting and believing me with all of your heart. and i trust you like i trust myself. cause i see the sincerity through your eyes, through your behavior when you're around me. i just can't stop believing that you're serious with me.

on top of that, i just want to say, this guy captivated my attention from the first time we met. though it was not just a kiss, but a kiss with scandals, we made it through until today. even though those filthy nasty shit-talkers just won't stop, he braces himself and hold me tight so i won't get hurt. he protects me like a soldier. he's tough, he's rational and logical. but when he's around me, he let go of that barrier to show him his love to me.

though it was one big rock for me, cause at the first few weeks, i couldn't believe him, but we overcome the clutters of our relationship. he asked me to be his girlfriend on 11.2.11, and i said yes with no hesitation. this has never happened to me, so i don't know why, i got this hunch that our relation will long last.
